Congratulations on your sale! The hard work is over, and all that’s left is getting paid. 

There are two ways to get started. You and your customer can select the most convenient way:

Option 1. You can send a payment request to the customer.

You can send a payment request from a lead, by clicking “Send Payment Request” from the bottom of any sent quote.

Once you do that, you’ll upload an invoice, and enter subtotal, tax, and shipping amounts. 

Click "Next: Review" to review the information, and then hit "Send Payment Request." 

That’s it! You'll see this confirmation:

Alternatively, you can send a payment request by going to your Kinnek Pay Dashboard. Search for your customer by company name or contact name, or type in their email address if they're not on Kinnek already.

Select the lead affiliated with the payment, or create a new product title. Upload a sales order, and enter subtotal, tax, and shipping amounts.

After you send a payment request, the customer will get an email and see the payment request in their Kinnek Pay Dashboard. 

They’ll select a payment method (credit card, wire transfer, or ACH), enter their payment information, and hit send. 

Option 2. The customer can pre-authorize a payment to you.

If the customer has a final price from you, they can pre-authorize payment by clicking “Purchase Now” from their quote. They’ll select a payment method (credit card, wire transfer, or ACH), enter their payment information, and hit send.

Alternatively, the customer can go to their Kinnek Pay Dashboard, search for your company name, and click “Pay.” They select their salesperson, select an affiliated quote or create a new product title, enter their payment information, and hit send.

When a customer pre-authorizes payment, you’ll get an email notification: 

You'll also see the customer-initiated payment appear in your Priorities, under "Payments."

Enter the final subtotal, tax, and shipping costs, and click accept or decline. If you need to update the final price, decline the payment and create a new payment request.

Once you accept, the payment will begin processing right away.

Tracking payment status

Credit card payments clear instantly, wire transfer clears the same day, and ACH payments take 3-8 business days to process. We’ll keep you posted on the status of your payment by email, and you can track payments from your Kinnek Pay Dashboard anytime.

If the payment is affiliated by a lead, you can also track payment status from the lead:

Once a payment clears you'll get an email update. That payment is guaranteed, and you can go ahead and ship your product. If the payment is affiliated with a lead, that lead moves to the "Leads Won" stage of your Pipeline
